Exactly four and a half months after Russell Martin's initial media briefing as the club's manager, successor the German coach faced reporters at Ibrox for the first time.

The scale of the task ahead of him is widely recognized, given his predecessor's chaotic and unsuccessful four-month spell.

The former Sheffield Wednesday manager was joined by club chairman Andrew Cavenagh, along with the frequently questioned pair of football director Thelwell and chief executive Patrick Stewart.

However, what exactly was revealed from the young coach's first public appearance as Rangers boss?

The Manager's Main Priority - Winning Comes First

One thing emerged clearly from Rohl's initial presentation before the Scottish media - he recognizes the necessity to secure victories, and achieve this quickly.

The previous manager Russell Martin lasted only 17 matches and four months in charge, so the inquiry arose about how long Rohl believes is reasonable to transform the struggling squad.

While skillfully avoiding a specific response that might create future pressure, Rohl's message was very evident.

"Hopefully as soon as possible," he said. "That is crucial.
"In this business you have not much time. You can discuss future plans but it's understood it's about the short-term and the short-term is about winning games. This is my requirement.
"One thing remains clear - I need every squad member to understand our intended to play. I return to my primary theme: victory comes first, it's attractive and unity. If you follow this order, I'm convinced that I'll stay for years at the club."

Pressure is Normal

Martin required a police escort to exit the stadium after his last match as manager.

We've witnessed how hostile situations can turn at football clubs when performances are poor. Demonstrations have almost become a regular part of the matchday experience on each part of the city currently.

As Rangers' youngest ever head coach, the question was posed about which attributes Rohl believes he possesses that would enable him to handle, let alone excel, in one of the highest-pressure positions in British football?

"I think pressure in this business are standard," he stated. "You must learn that very quickly.
"I believe some people could reference my age but I'm a decade and a half on this path. I had a great opportunity to work with Bayern Munich and be only an assistant manager, but I experienced what it means to manage a team and the pressure you face.
"When you start winning games and then some critics claim you need to produce entertaining football. That's the next stage but precisely what I want. I enjoy that challenge and I look forward about the future."

Thelwell Explains Chermiti Signing & Appointing Family Member

Kevin Thelwell media conference

There were numerous inquiries from journalists directed at Thelwell.

Significant attention has focused on the appointment of his son as recruitment chief, with supporters skeptical about his qualifications for the role.

However, he justified and clarified the choice to recruit his son to Ibrox.

"It remains uncomfortable to hear and in appearance I believe we all agreed when we made this step to hire him that he would be viewed in a particular way," Thelwell stated.
"The reality of the situation is that we want to bring the top players to this club.
"My view on Robbie's career and background is he required no my assistance in soccer.
"He's worked at Aston Villa as head scout, after which he joined Norwich as scouting chief and then got promoted to development role.
"Before we recruited him, two Premier League clubs wanted to acquire him. What we did right at the beginning of proceedings was discuss with the CEO, Andrew and vice-chairman Marathe about this matter.
"I was highly open and I believe Robbie probably underwent a stricter procedure than any other employee by this football club.
"What I do know is that he'll labor 25/8 to be successful for this football club and I'm looking forward to him demonstrating that he'll become an excellent staff member for the club."

Thelwell also supported the acquisition of striker Chermiti, who joined Rangers for an alleged first payment of £8m, after failing to score in 24 games for his previous club.

The sporting director who transferred the Portuguese young international to Merseyside from Sporting Lisbon - once more for large funds in a fifteen million pound deal.

He was asked if he stands by his multi-million pound purchase, who is yet to register in seven outings for the club.

"Absolutely, very much so," Thelwell responded. "I think Youssef Chermiti is a player who's got great ability.
"I haven't questioned him in any way. Similarly, I think Danny will assist in get the best out of Youssef.
"It's very initial stages for him, he remains young talent and naturally with young talents they sometimes require patience.
"But I'm certain over the course of his time at the club he'll demonstrate that he is highly capable player."

The CEO Acknowledges Supporters' Disappointment and Anger

Stewart was also facing firing line, considering the vitriol that has been directed his way by certain club fans.

There was even a sign in the Sandy Jardine stand during the recent draw with Dundee United suggesting him - and Thelwell - to depart before being removed for them.

Like his sporting director, Stewart didn't avoid the issue.

"I totally appreciate the disappointment and anger that the supporters are experiencing because results this season haven't met expectations and no one is happy with those," he said.
"The pain and disappointment they feel is mirrored within the leadership.
"Recognize that there must exist a channel for that dissatisfaction and in my role, that's me.
"I serve as lightning rod for such issues and my responsibility as a
